only big discounts with selected retailer partners – but only if a certain number of people sign up for it – and pay – that day.

This is the dot com version of Walmart or Winners – recognized brands at deep discounts, a proven formula. They offered a 50% discount on a $50 purchase at the Gap yesterday, which proved so popular it crashed their computer system! This was the first offer for a big multinational brand, after introducing the idea with smaller locally based offers.

Now that they’ve gone big, they sure won’t be going home.
