Hmm - that's a tough thing to turn down. What type of position are you interested in anyway?

It’s such a small world. I work with Chef Geoff at Nota Bene! I’ll convince him to cook you some more ribs in the The Big Green Egg and bring them cross country if you consider interning me. Seriously. How bad do want those ribs?

Hi,

I'm really interested in interning at Spring. I'm a creative person with a bit of a weirdo sense of humour and I think I would fit in well. I recently worked as a copywriter for a contract position and really enjoyed it and would like to learn more. My experience is mostly in freelance journalism and creative writing and I think I could bring a lot of ideas to this position. Feel free to email me and I can send you some writing samples and my resume.

Thanks!

So, what you're saying - is that - I shouldn't use dashes anymore?
Even if one is an art director?

Thats awesome! I love the feeling of the air hitting your face and the G-Force when they're spinning you to lose height.

Good times! If you're looking to kill a couple minutes check out a similar vid I made while on the road in venezuela.
Around the 22 sec mark. Looking over the hills of Merida.

Paula,

Thanks for the comment. I couldn't agree more about how specific the demographic they are targeting is. With that being said it will be interesting to see which businesses are purchasing this ad space and what products/services they are promoting to such a specific demographic.

Without a doubt 2-3 minutes is a long time to keep the consumer engaged. Like you mentioned it seems like the ads are conveniently placed for the user to make a quick break to the washroom or to grab a snack like you said. If only they could differentiate between how many impressions they record compared to the true number of impressions actually received.

However the whole idea I believe does have legs. It will be interesting to see if anyone else takes a stab at this strategy and how they may execute it differently. Or maybe Facebook decides to build on this, might we soon be getting paid to watch ads on our home feed or friend’s walls!? Only time will tell.
